I think the vampire mythology on The Vampire Diaries is my favorite I’ve ever encountered. It’s so intricate, and the whole story surrounding the originals? Completely brilliant. And how people are turned is better than True Blood, the teeth look cooler, I love the eye effect. I love how with Stefan the blood is like a literal drug that changes his personality. I love how humanity is a vampire’s greatest weakness. I love that the reason behind Klaus’s thousand year search is the fact that he doesn’t want to be alone.

This show is awesome.
